Why Do I Write A Blog?

As a lifetime resident of NW Washington, DC/Maryland area, I love to get out and explore each of the communities I serve to see what's new. Whether it is a great new restaurant or a decadently delicious cupcake shop like Frosting or the new Whole Foods opening up down the street or a great event at Gucci just down the steeet, this is my neighborhood and this is my life. Since I live and work in the communities I serve, I know firsthand the pros and cons of each area and like to share this information with my clients.

Buying a home is so much more than just the house. It is the community. It is where you will buy your groceries, go for dinner, see a movie or enjoy recreational activities on a daily basis and where children will go to school. It matters that a buyer feels comfortable with a neighborhood because this will be an important part of their day to day life. 

I think it is not only important to educate and advocate for my clients about the home they may potentially buy but, also, to educate them on the neighborhood around them. I use my own firsthand experience and knowledge to illuminate these neighborhoods in my real estate blog.
